Sorry for the brief hiatus we have both been away (Sarah in Dubai on a last minute break and Philippa on a girlie trip with her Mum in the country) – just what we needed after the craziness of LFW. Now, we’re back to business with one of the biggest trends for winter…V E L V E T.
It’s definitely a seasonal style that comes back year after year and a trend we’ve grown to love over time. The shops are full of velvet offerings but we’re pretty sure there’s only one key way we’re going to work the trend; with a velvet jacket. We’re not fussy when it comes to shape (although we’ve both decided some of the oversized blazers just don’t quite look the part) and whether you want something a little more dressy like the blazer or something to wear with your slouchy denims like the bomber; there’s plenty to chose from when it comes to silhouettes.
