Firstly, HI…we are back as a duo!! After four months on maternity leave, Sarah is back in action! So a big thank you for everyone’s lovely support of Philippa while she has been holding fort. With the hello out the way, now let’s talk clothes…specifically back to work clothes.
January always seems to have that lingering back to school feeling and after so many requests of affordable workwear attire, here’s our take on back to work staples on a budget. Whilst we don’t work in an office we’ve had a lot of experience having both worked in an office and also styling people who work in an office. And we’re pretty confident that all you need is a few key pieces that can be mixed and matched to make that perfect workwear wardrobe.
Look for tailoring, think sharp blazers, sleek trousers and a longline coat, with classic black heels or boots (not too high!) and even wrap dresses, silky shirts & pop of print too.
See below how we’ve styled two back to work looks….
Philippa’s wearing:
Mango coat | Asos cashmere knit (similar here) | Nell & Digby necklace | Topshop trousers (in store but similar here) | Staud bag | Mango boots
Sarah’s wearing:
New Look blazer (similar here) | &OtherStories tee | Nell & Digby necklace | Zara trousers (similar here) | Staud bag | Zara heels (similar here & here)
