Even when I was a kid I was never one of those girlie, ‘pink girls’. In fact ever since I can remember I have always preferred hues of black, white & grey as opposed to fuchsia, pastel & blush…until now! 2017 has without doubt been the year of ‘millennial pink,’ that soft blush tone that’s filtered its way to our clothes, our homes and our makeup bags and let me tell you, it’s not going anywhere.
That said, I’m not sure I’m brave enough to go full throttle with a pink coat or jeans, personally I think the best way to do it is with some accessories. Even I was surprised when I fell for the J. W. Anderson pink ‘mini pierce bag’ at the beginning of the year – every time I use it, I feel happy! It is surprisingly easy to wear and works with all the black, grey, navy & white in my wardrobe. If I’m totally honest; I’m not sure it’s a forever piece but for now and the foreseeable future it’s one of my favourite items and it was definitely worth the investment.
