MOTHER’S DAY TREATS WITH L.K.BENNETT

MOTHER’S DAY TREATS WITH L.K.BENNETT

So as you know we’re going big for Mother’s Day this year. We’ve planned lots of treats, gifts and quality time with our Mummas and today we’re sharing this weekend’s early celebrations with you. Thanks to the blog and our jobs we’re very lucky that we get to work with some amazing brands, this time it’s a little different though, our Mum’s are making an appearance!

So, lovely readers, we’re sharing with you a very special Mother’s Day tea we hosted over the weekend, courtesy of The Social Kitchen and L.K. Bennett.

Look at this table…a palette of blush and pink handcrafted by The Social Kitchen for our special tea 🙂

So we all got dressed up and had a gorgeous afternoon tea at Philippa’s new house. Here’s what we’re all wearing:

Philippa’s wearing L.K. Bennett shirt | Shelley’s wearing L.K. Bennett jumper | Andrea’s wearing L.K. Bennett top | Sarah’s wearing L.K. Bennett shirt

How lovely are our Mumma’s??!

Now onto the presents…just like us they do love a bit of fashion and so it was only right that we treated them to a spring wardrobe update.

Keeping with the spirit, it had to be something twinning for their Mother’s Day gifts so we picked these gorgeous cross body bags in spring neutrals. You know how much we love a good cross body bag, there’s just something so easy about having both hands free and we love the dressed down look they add to any outfit.  As well as the practicality of the bags, the subtle floral details are a great SS17 update.
We have of course passed on the love for the cross body to our Mums but they haven’t quite the got the collection that we have…until now 🙂

It was a hard decision, we were tempted by all of this collection:

Thank you to the incredible The Social Kitchen for helping us create an absolute tea table of dreams!
