One of the most asked questions we receive on WAT is about how to style up outfits that look effortless but still feel good. Whilst there’s definitely something in throwing things together my approach is a little more thought about. I have a failsafe, go to outfit that I ALWAYS feel good in no matter what. For me that’s a great coat (something longline and with a mannish edge), a classic black polo neck (preferably cashmere!) a pair of frayed hem straight jeans (mid blue colour) & a classic black boot. So simple but I promise you it always looks the part. Wherever I might be going I can chop and change some aspects of the look to fit the occasion, for example, a chunky flat black boot and a plain coat for a weekend look or a more tailored checked coat with a stiletto boot come evening, it’s an outfit formula that never dates & you probably already have all the pieces in your wardrobe. So today I’m sharing my all time favourite outfit and all the key pieces you need to recreate the look.
