So I’ve never really been that into gingham (well maybe when I was about 5 but that was without my consent) but I’ve bought A LOT of gingham this season and I keep being drawn to more and more. The past few weeks alone I’ve made a beeline for anything remotely checkered as soon as I’ve entered a shop (take note & Other Stories is dangerous.) But don’t worry, I’ve not turned all girlie and twee on you, this season the gingham is tougher. Think boxier black and white shapes as opposed to pastel pink and cream frocks (sorry not for me!) And yes, there is so much in the shops now it’s dangerous!
My newest style crush is this off the shoulder dress from Urban Outfitters. Thankfully it was super sunny when I shot this and it felt like the perfect dress to be wafting the streets of London in. I toughened it up a bit with a tie ankle sandal but I can imagine it worn bare foot on a beach as well. So versatile! FYI my other recent gingham buys are these River Island heels, this Stories top & I *might* have a Zara skirt on route as well. Oh and this Asos bikini….
