OUR 5 FAVOURITE SUMMER JACKET STYLES TO BUY

*AFFILIATE LINKS USED THROUGHOUT*

When it comes to Summer, (in the UK at least!) a selection of jackets is a must, you never know when the weather might turn & so we always like to be stylishly prepared! And as you can probably imagine, we have tried and tested many a summer thrown on throughout the years & can confirm that there a few staple pieces is all you need to see you through…

THE DENIM JACKET

Starting off with perhaps the most obvious choice, a summer wardrobe is never complete without a denim jacket. Styled with a summer dress, shorts or teamed with jeans for that chic denim on denim look – a failsafe denim jacket is always the way forward, and this H&M pick is our favourite option!

THE LINEN BLAZER

A neutral, linen blazer has become our go-to, dressier summer jacket. Perfect for those al-fresco nights, or for a smarter day-time look – a linen blazer will forever come in handy and is the easiest way to elevate an outfit whilst keeping your look light and summery… Again H&M knocks it out the park with this super chic style.

THE QUILTED BOMBER

A more recent addition to our summer-jacket must haves, a great quilted bomber is now a piece we can’t live without. It’s the perfect throw on jacket that really does work with anything! Paired with jeans, shorts or a simple summer dress, a quilted bomber works with them all and is the answer to those cooler summer days – and ladies,  this Free People one is our summer 2022 obsession!

THE CARGO JACKET

A shacket is a staple for us through the Spring/Summer months and has been for a while now & this season it’s all about those cargo details. New in at Arket this is the perfect piece, in the most versatile colourway is quite literally perfect for every occasion.

THE OPEN SHIRT

Whilst not technically a jacket (oops!), we have been loving wearing an oversized shirt as a layering piece as soon as the sun has let us this season. Styled with a racer-back vest (WAT the Brand obvs!) or even a t-shirt, an oversized shirt works in so many ways in and we love that it can work really hard in our wardrobe.
