As you all probably know by now, we love our makeup – we love trying out new products and switching up our makeup routines. However, there are a few tried & tested products that we have been using for what feels like forever, and we are excited to share these everyday favourites with you today 🙂
First up we have the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation. There are a few foundations which we really love but by a pinch, the top spot has to be this ultimate smooth & silky number. It gives the perfect level of coverage (not too heavy, but hides what needs to be hidden), creates the perfect natural, glowy base and it comes in a huge variety of shades. For reference, we both wear the shade 4.25 🙂
Next up we have the Nars Radient Creamy concealer – truly an item we can’t live without. We have been using this concealer for years now (we wear the shade ‘Custard’) Â and it really is a life saver for us; it has kept us feeling confident and fresh through the busiest of work days and of course, through mum life as a whole! It is beyond easy and quick to apply (perfect for those on the go!) and really is a key part of our makeup routine – we can’t recommend this concealer enough!
We do not feel ourselves or our best without a good bronzer – and the Nars Matte Bronzing power in shade Laguna has steadily become our favourite. This bronzer really gives you that gorgeous, Â sun-kissed glow that we personally crave in the cold winter months, and we really love its natural matte finish. After spending years trying to find a bronzer that doesn’t look too orange, too sparkly or too heavy – we found the best of the best!
We have both had a lipstick obsession for what feels like forever, and if you know us well, you’d know that our go-to has always been, and probably always will be, Charlotte Tilbury’s Original Pillowtalk. This lipstick is the ultimate everyday pinky/nudey lip-colour and we feel incomplete without it – it gives off a super natural, yet put together look and we pretty much have one in every pocket & bag!
We have always found it difficult finding the perfect eyeliner; we want something that both looks great, and is easy to apply and like many, we stayed true to a classic black kohl for years. Now however, we are all about that natural brown & effortless liner that stays put, is the chicest colour brown and that works day and night. Thankfully, after our fair share of trial and errors, we found the Mac Eye Kohl pencil liner in the shade ‘Costa Riche’ and trust us when we say, you cannot go wrong with it!
And last but not least we have the Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye mascara – probably our desert island must-have! It literally does not smudge or clump and makes our lashes look so long and thick. Plus it lasts us a full day of mum life & work life combined which is no easy task! After years of searching this has made it into our number one spot for mascara!
