PLAYROOM RENOVATION

PLAYROOM RENOVATION

Welcome to P’s family playroom…

This has been a real work in progress, I couldn’t find my feet with this room for so long but now it’s finally complete and I couldn’t love it any more! Alfie & Ava are at the age now where they are starting to play/fight (!) together and so to have a room dedicated to them and their toys has been a total game changer in our household. I started the renovation last Summer… 3 months into lockdown and I just knew I needed to turn the front living room that literally never got used into a hub for all of us to make use of. My mission was to create a family/playroom that didn’t compromise in style. I loved how our previous room looked and so it took me a long time to visualise how it should look.

With big thanks to Veronica Lancaster, the colour palette of this room is really what makes it. Think Soho Farmhouse vibes with a mix of Pottery Barn chic, Veronica totally got my vision and with her at home colour consultation she chose paints that work so perfectly. As you keep scrolling you’ll see I’m majorly into storage boxes and camouflaged toy cupboards… these are the details that really help keep the room looking stylish but most importantly – practical!

A lot of the baskets and ornaments I have collected over the years but I have linked as many options as possible so you can recreate the look. I hope you love this room as much as my A team does 🙂
