THE SUMMER TRAINER EDIT

I’ve always been a flats girl…I’ve never managed to rock heels in the day & I’ve never felt comfortable being too dressed up (unless it’s for a night out or special occasion & then there’s no stopping me!) but I haven’t always been a trainers girl. A few years ago I owned all the flats (pointy, wrap around, loafers – you name it!) but as for trainers it was just a pair for the gym & a rogue pair of Stan Smiths, oh how things have changed! Trainers are now a mainstay in my wardrobe & I wear them ALL THE TIME. Most days I’m rocking a trainer & I’m really not sure how my wardrobe coped without them! I am slowing building up a collection & a few months ago I felt like I needed a ‘summer pair.’ As ridiculous as that sounds, I found that a lot of my trainers were quite heavy, or had black in them & I fancied something a bit lighter weight that gave my dress collection an instant summer lift. Hello Vejas….a brand that I was yet to buy into but really fancied, yet I had never found quite the right pair to take the plunge. Then I found ‘the ones’, the ‘espalar‘ all white with a green ‘V’ & I knew that was exactly what I was looking for.
For everyone that told me they weren’t comfy, I totally disagree(!), I have found them so comfy, true to size & they actually go with everything. So in appreciation of the ‘summer trainer;’ today’s post is all about sharing my love for my new Vejas & also all the other summer trainers I’ve found out there…
