THE WEAR IT ANYWHERE CAMEL COAT

THE WEAR IT ANYWHERE CAMEL COAT

The camel coat…where to start? Well, if there’s one coat that we would call a wardrobe essential it’s the camel coat. Not only is it a colour that works with anything…(think of it like black or white, camel works with pretty much every colour there is) it can be dressed up, dressed down & everything inbetween. It is staple that everyone should have in their wardrobes, it’s an item you will always be drawn to time & time again – trust us!

What’s more, as we’ve got older we’ve found ourselves clutching to these staples every time we get dressed. In fact, we’d go as far as to say that we always feel ‘done’ when we finish our outfit with a camel coat. There really is something so chic about this colour way. Plus with no spend January on the cards for many, we wanted to take it back to basics with today’s post & show the versatility of one of our favourite wardrobe pieces.

We’ve styled up two classic looks with this longline camel coat, it’s a really relaxed, slouchy shape, no structured shoulders or fancy button detailing here. It’s simple in the best sense of the word making it work for so many occasions. Philippa has worn it casually with trainers & a classic knit & Sarah more of a dressed up office look & as you can see it works so well styled both ways.

Philippa’s wearing:
Zara coat | Asos knit (similar here) | Nell & Digby necklace (similar here) | Citizen of Humanity jeans | Gucci bag | Ash trainers

Sarah’s wearing
Zara coat | Boden knit (similar here) | Zara trousers (similar here) | Valentino bag (similar here) | Kurt Geiger boots

High street camel coats on our radar…
