TRAVEL OUTFIT IDEAS

TRAVEL OUTFIT IDEAS

I’ve really been enjoying answering some of your suggestions the past couple of weeks and so today I’m asnwering another…Lots of you have requested style ideas for travelling, so today is dedicated to my favourite travel lewk. Now I’d like to clarify that I’m definitely not that chic traveller that’s dressed up to the nines, I am without doubt all about the comfort and even more so now I’m travelling with a little one. I cannot bare the thought of being in jeans on a flight, or anything too tight and uncomfortable for that matter. That said, I still like to look the part and in recent years my go to travel attire has been a co-ord (In case you needed clarification I mean a jogger style co-ord as opposed to the hot pant variety!) Think slim fit track pants with a coordinating tee or long sleeve top – pure travel perfection! Essentially anything lightweight but matching is an excellent option for any flight, not only are we talking maximum comfort but also still looking done as well.

Another tip is that I always like to travel in my denim jacket, it’s a piece I take on every holiday (so useful!) but it is quite bulky to pack so it’s always my go to cover up for the flight. I need that extra layer on any flight as I get cold easily so I find a denim jacket is just the ticket for keeping me warm. Foot wise I always wear trainers, you never know when you might need a pair whilst you’re away & my feet also get cold on flights, they are a much safer option that sandals. Often I use my beach bag as a handbag on the flight too, they are so roomy & can fit just as much as a regular shopper plus then they don’t get squashed either. And that also means I don’t need to pack two big bags with me (this was pre Lenny as now I have about 8 bags!)

So in all appreciation of the co-ords I’ve rounded up some of my favourite high street styles in the shops now:
