We had a real treat this week, a Gazelli facial at Josh Wood Atelier in Holland Park. It was quite possibly the most relaxing and most luxurious facial we’ve ever had and we can’t recommend it enough.

Before we indulged in the luxury Gazelli treatment, we were equally enjoying chilling out at the very exclusive Atelier reception. The salon is nestled in the cutest cobbled muse behind Holland Park tube station and has a serious VIP atmosphere.
The treatment rooms are hidden at the top floor of the salon. The minute the door was opened we instantly felt relaxed – it has a lovely calm yet super chic feel about the room. There’s absolutely no “stuffy spa” feeling about this place! Oh, and that bed…felt like we were floating in heaven!!
To begin the treatment, the lovely beautician Margaret gave us a skin diagnosis so that we could understand our own skin. This was actually really interesting to find out why certain sections of our face felt oily or dry at certain times of the day. The diagnosis also really helped to work out what existing products we were using worked well, and which we need to chuck out!
We opted for the “Intensive Renewal” treatment which lasts for 60 minutes. Normally with facials it’s quite uncomfortably lying on your back for so long, but that was not the case this time. Admittedly we did snooze off a couple of times purely because the bed was so dreamy, but it felt like the perfect amount of time for the treatment.
We both walked (or shall we say floated) out of the salon feeling so relaxed… Our skin didn’t feel too bad either!! We can definitely notice our face feels very smooth and looks radiant.
